At Intimate Photography we realize that working with a San Diego boudoir photographer is very personal and private. We want you for feel comfortable, safe and excited! Our goal is to create images you’ll love and to go above and beyond your expectations.
Here are the steps to ensure your boudoir photo shoot is an amazing experience:
BEFORE YOUR BOUDOIR SHOOT
We’ll have a phone consultation to discuss wardrobe, hair and makeup, your level of comfort, and when you need your completed album.
For your convenience our extensive wardrobe includes, shoes and jewelry, corsets, bra and panty sets, bodysuits, teddies, baby dolls, lacy robes, lingerie dresses, informal veils and white men’s shirts. Sizes 2-6X. Feel free to bring your own wardrobe.
You’ll receive our extensive prep guide including what to do days or weeks before, and the day of your boudoir shoot. It also includes a complete shopping guide and lingerie guide. And suggestions how to personalize your session. We are always available to answer questions or address any jitters you might be having. Just call, text, or email.
DURING YOUR BOUDOIR SHOOT
The photo shoot experience will be welcoming, comfortable, and private. You’ve followed the prep guide so you are well prepared, having everything you need for your session.
Next is wardrobe fitting. We look for pieces that accent your best features and hide the areas that you aren’t fond of. Sizes range from 2-6X. Shoe sizes range from 5-11. If you brought items from home we will include them, adding more pieces if necessary.
Our talented professional makeup artist-hairstylist will be ready for you. She will discuss the look you want and give you options.
Now the FUN begins!
During your boudoir photo shoot you’ll be coached every step of the way from posing to expressions. Even if you’ve never posed before you’ll do great! Your session includes 3 outfit changes and the silhouette poses (optional). When you leave the studio, you’ll feel confident and assured we have captured incredible images that you’ll love!
AFTER YOUR BOUDOIR SHOOT
Here’s the best part! The Image Reveal and Ordering appointment will be scheduled a week to 10 days after your session.
You will meet with your San Diego boudoir photographer to view your custom designed slideshow with all your amazing portraits. Then the editing process begins by selecting your favorites. Deciding on your final images and how to display your portraits is never rushed.
You will have so many choices: albums, enlargements, acrylics, canvas, calendars and digital files. There is something for everyone!
THE GRAND FINALE
Your order has arrived! We will meet to present you with your completed order. We love seeing the expression on your face when you see your beautiful album for the first time!!
